I couldn't resist taking a picture in front of this little Christmas display. They had the cutest stuffed deer, and to the right of the picture there were some little stuffed husky sled dogs set up. Sorry, it's a cell phone picture.
When we got home, I tried taking some pictures of us in front of the mirror. I'd left my camera at home so I didn't get to take any good ones while we were out. I'm so fed up with my camera at the moment. It just seems it only takes good pictures outside. Darn it, there's lots to take INSIDE too. I want a DSLR, but there's not room in the budget at the moment.
See David's face? He absolutely hates to take pictures, and will try to sabatoge any picture I take of him.
It gets worse...
It was cold last night, so I decided to make some nice hot cocoa. I got the recipe off the Hershey's Cocoa container. I added some really cute marshmallows I found on sale at Walmart for only a dolla.
Look closer.
They're snowmen. Yes, snowmen. Really. *ahem*
Anyhoo, the recipe is as follows:
2 Tbsp sugar
2-3 tsp Hershe's cocoa
dash salt
1 c milk
1/4 tsp vanilla
Microwave the milk until it's hot, then add slowly to the cocoa mixture. Add vanilla. Stir, and enjoy! Oh, and don't accidently misread the recipe and add cocoa in Tbsp instead of tsp. Way too cocoa-y. Not that I've done that or anything.

ROFL! Those marshmellows!! I bet the cocoa was good :)
David is so funny with his photo phobia. You have always done stuff like that in pictures so it's funny that you married someone who does it too :) That's a sweet tree and reindeer scene. Sounds like you guys had fun :)
I'm melting....
Happy you had a nice time at your party. And nice pictures of you, not to sure about David :)
Hey I guessed the marshmellows were SNOWMEN before I read to the bottom!! Nice job. I love all of your craft stuff katie. I didn't know you had a shop!! That's cool. do you sell much on there. I left a comment on Becky's blog about blog etiquette you'll have to read. I'm never sure if you have to comment on the particular blog that you read about or if you go to the most recent blog to comment. I can't wait for christmas. Do you have a tree yet?
Hmm...Dad. Sometimes it makes more sense to comment on the particular post. I have mine set to email me when someone comments, so I'll see it. If you'd rather just comment on the most recent post, that's ok too. :)
David is such a nut................... :-) Glad you had a good time at your work party. Can't wait to spend time with you over the holidays! I love our time together and hopefully I'll have some baby chicks that actually hatch out!! Love you, Momma
