I decided to can most of them, since we're running low on freezer space. We also saved some to eat fresh, and I put a couple of bags in the freezer.
I ended up with 14 quarts of beans, and 4 pints of dilly beans. Have you ever had dilly beans? They're pickled green beans. I hope we like them!
Wow! What a lot of beautiful green beans! Great job canning so much of them! I wish I had some ready in the garden right now :)
ReplyDeleteI love green beans and they sure are the workhorse of veggies! Good for you - lots of work but lots of good eating this winter! You can keep the dilly beans hon. I want the bacon beans!!! hehe Love you, Momma
