Look what I got! Isn't she great?

She's so cute, but I'll be trying to remember that she's a pig and trying to not get too attached to her.

Right now she's in her own little corner of the barn pen, right next to June. She snuggles down in the straw and I made her a little sweatshirt-sleeve sweater to keep her warm.

She's our first pig, so I'm excited and a little nervous!
What breed is she? She's adorable!
ReplyDeleteShe's so cute!! Gosh, let's hope she gets ugly as she grows up! ;) The pen and set up looks great!
ReplyDeleteMarnax, she's a crossbred but she's got a lot of Duroc in her!
ReplyDeleteSO CUTE! I wouldn't be able to NOT get attached!
ReplyDeleteYOU GOT A PIGLET!!!!!!!!!! How cute and how fun! It makes me want to run get into the car and visit NOW!!! She's just adorable! Any name ideas? Penelope? Love you, Momma
ReplyDeleteOh boy. I would not be able to keep from getting attached to that little one. I hope she becomes MUCH less cute as she grows up. And maybe she'll cause a few problems that will put her on your bad side? ;)
ReplyDeleteOh, she's adorable!
Don't worry about getting attached. The smell when she is big will kill any lingering affection.
ReplyDeleteShe's adorable, how old?
ReplyDeleteThree weeks!
ReplyDeletePorkchop was about 3 weeks old when I got her... Your piggy is too cute. Your gonna get attached, lol. That lil piggy is gonna drive you nuts but you wont care cause you'll love it ;)
ReplyDeleteKatie, what do you plan on doin with your pig. Pet or Food?
Jennifer, the plan is for us to raise her for meat.
